What is Ubuntu ..???

Ubuntu is a Linux distribution based on Debian. The Ubuntu project is sponsored by Canonical Ltd (a company owned by Mark Shuttleworth.) Ubuntu name is taken from the name of a concept of ideology in South Africa. ”Ubuntu” comes from the ancient language of Africa, which means “taste perikemanusian against fellow human beings.”Ubuntu also means “I’m me because of the existence of us all”. The aim of the Ubuntu Linux distribution brings the spirit is contained in the Ubuntu into the software world.

Ubuntu is a complete Linux-based operating system, freely available and has good support from community and professional experts.

The Ubuntu community is formed based on the ideas contained in the philosophy of Ubuntu:

* That software should be available free of charge
* That the application software must be used in their respective local languages and for people who have physical limitations, and
* That the user must have the freedom to modify the software in accordance with what they need.

About freedom is what makes Ubuntu different from proprietary software (proprietary); not only the equipment you need available free of charge, but you also have the right to modify your software until the software works the way you want.
